Weekly Discussion 10/05
My classes at Hodge Road,Knightdale and Forestville were a combination of good and bad. We have some days that are better than others, but for the most part they are pretty good. The biggest problem with my kids is being disrespectful and talking over the teachers. They also talk while we're giving directions and demonstrating what to do. The main thing that's common with all of our classes is the constant disrespect.

Lesson Plan Review
I feel as though our lesson plan was successful. The students were talkative and arguing over people cheating , but we redirected them and got it under control. A few positive things the students asked to play our game multiple times and seemed to enjoy just as much. Students also worked together to tag each other. Overall I feel like my game was successful and when we actually take it to the school, the students will enjoy it.
Review of Knightdale Elementary / Hodge Road Elementary
1) I thought that Knightdale Elementary was a good school to attend . They seem to be hungry for interaction with people that are closer to their age. Hodge Road Elementary was seemed to have more structure, when it came to routines and what's expected and what's not permissible.
2) Mrs.Cram's lessons plans included a lot of skills that she was trying to teach them, such as working together and communicating. The lesson plans my group has planned involve working together and listening skills.
3) After seeing the kids, I've noticed that you have to approach them like your actually there to make sure they have a good time. You have appeal everything to a kids point of view and make it sound fun. Kids just want to have a blast and interact with people, they know want to have fun with them.

My Expectations
1) My expectations in this class is to experience working with children, and I would also like to experience a teachers role in a physical education environment. I also want to build a bond with the teachers and the students.
2) What most excites me most about this class is being able to work with children and get them active in school. I am also excited to bond with them and get out all their extra energy.
3) I am a good role model, because I have ayear-old brother who I take care of. I also volunteered at Forestville Elementary the last week of school in Mrs.Peters class as a teachers assistant. I also can match the personality of younger children, because I can relate to the things they like and watch. I'm well mannered and I love children.
